MOZZARELLA POPS


MOZZARELLA POPS
Mouth-melting, cheesy, delicious mozzarella pops flavoured with herbs and paprika
Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cooking Time : 25-30 minutes
Servings : 4

INGREDIENTS
Mozzarella cheese, cut into thick strips 400 grams

Refined flour (maida) 1/2 cup

Cornflour/ corn starch 1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon

Dried mixed herbs 2 teaspoons

Paprika 1 teaspoon

Bread crumbs 1 cup

Oil to deep fry

METHOD
Mix refined flour, cornflour, salt, pepper powder, mixed herbs, paprika and water in a bowl and whisk well to make a thick batter. Dip the mozzarella strips in the batter and then coat it with the bread crumbs and keep it in the refrigerator of fifteen to twenty minutes. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep fry the mozzarella strips till golden. Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
